KEMET High Reliability Alternative (HRA) Series MLCCs

KEMET High-Reliability Alternative (HRA) Series Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors (MLCCs) feature an X7R dielectric and DC voltage ratings of 4V, 6.3V, 10V, 16V, 25V, 50V, and 100V. These surface-mount modules are designed, tested, and screened to meet the demands of higher reliability applications that require capacitance values not found in traditional MIL-SPEC products. These X-Level HRA ceramic capacitors use KEMET’s patented Base Metal Electrode (BME) technology to offer capacitance values up to 5x those of MIL-PRF-32535 capacitors. Additional features of the HRA series include reduced board mounting space, a robust design, and -55°C to 125°C operating temperature range. KEMET HRA Series MLCCs are available in both standard and flexible termination options. Applications include decoupling, bypass, filtering, and transient voltage suppression.
