TDK Lambda’s 1.5 W, 3 W, 6 W, and 10 W DC/DC converters are available in surface-mount and through-hole packaging

TDK Lambda's CCG1R5 (1.5 W), CCG3 (3 W), CCG6 (6 W), and CCG10 (10 W) parts operate in ambient temperature -40°C up to +95°C. These models are made up of 36 voltage and current combinations with 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, and dual ±12 V and ±15 V outputs. The dual output models can also be connected to supply 24 V and 30 V. They can all operate from either 4.5 V to 18 V, 9 V to 36 V, or 18 V to 76 VDC inputs to support operation from 5 V, 12 V, 24 V, and 48 V power sources. This 4:1 input range can assist with inventory reduction programs with one part covering two nominal voltages. All voltage combinations are available with terminations for either surface-mount or through-hole placement.

The 1.5 W, 3 W, 6 W, and 10 W converters share common compact package sizes of 15.7 mm x 10.4 mm x 11.5 mm (length x width x height) and 19 mm x 12.4 mm (length x width) with a height of 11.5 mm for the through-hole and 11.8 mm for the surface mount models. The plastic case is not encapsulated, avoiding quality risks associated with silicone potting compounds during reflow soldering. Overcurrent protection and remote on/off is standard, with a -5/+10% output voltage adjustment range on single outputs only. The input to output isolation is 1,500 VDC and the certifications are to the IEC/UL/CSA/EN 62368-1 safety standards with the CE and UKCA marks for the low-voltage and RoHS directives.
